What is a Parenting Consultant?
A Parenting Consultant (PC) is a court-appointed, third party who helps separated or divorced high conflict parents make child-related decisions.

Parenting consultants are typically attorneys or mental health professionals with ADR (alternative dispute resolution) training. The purpose of having a PC appointed is to reduce court appearances for parents who have difficulty making decisions for themselves. PCs help facilitate communications, mediate discussions, and make binding decisions if so ordered. PCs are neutral and operate with the best interests of the children as their guide.

smarter than you think."
